Develop press releases and press material for upcoming shows and events at Smith's Olde Bar and other establishments managed by Nolen Reeves Music. Communicate with local press to gain coverage of shows. Assist talent buyer in the booking process. Work with bands and artist management to best promote the artist and their upcoming show. Build and maintain relationships with local media outlets, writers, artists, managers and agents.Manage and own all social media for Smith's Olde Bar, Brother's Bar & Pelham's (both in Jacksonville, AL). Built and launched brand new website for Brother's (Jacksonville, AL)Engage and teach staff how to better use and utilize social media to promote the business.

Maximize both local and national sales. Support Local Sponsorship Sales, overseeing the fulfillment of local, regional, and national accounts by ensuring the delivery of contractual elements and providing excellent customer service. Responsible for managing all sponsorship inventory.

Maintain Abercrombie visual standards and teaches these standards to staff. Develops plans and delegates tasks to improve areas identified during walk throughs. Oversees all form and faceout changes, ensuring completion of table layers and placement of new marketing. Book local shows in all 3 rooms of one of Atlanta's premiere mid size concert venues. Assist talent buyers in day to day tasks, keep all calendars up to date and organized. Maintain all social networking/social media (Twitter, Facebook, Myspace), handle contests/promotions for all shows at the venue, maintain website.Also responsible for hospitality for some of the larger shows at the venue.

As Office Manger, I was assistant to the CEO/presidents. Also in charge of organization, scheduling staff, client services, settling events, and accounting.As Promotions Director, I focused on gaining new clients and developing marketing materials. Sent out weekly newsletters targeting specific cities to promote events. Helped work with existing clients to market and promote their events in the best ways possible.

The 1st Taste of West Cobb event was a project in a senior level marketing class at Kennesaw State University. I was the CEO of the event and was in charge of advertising, press releases, and on-site event management. I also organized all staff, volunteers, students, and band parents. The event raised over $20,000 for the band programs at Hillgrove High School.
