I started working at the San Francisco Stock Exchange at the age of 18 years old. My first position was as a runner. I would receive stock / option orders and run them out to our brokers for them to execute for our clients. From there, I was promoted to taking phone orders from our clients and inputting them into our system which sent out the orders electronically to our brokers hand held machine. I would then relay the executed orders back to our clients and send them a report through our computer system. I also back stopped and processed all complex derivative trades executed in open outcry on the trading floor to the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC). From there I oversaw and managed final clearing of all trades with aggregate cash values of millions of dollars daily. I was in charge of our firms books, logging every single trade that was executed into Microsoft Office as well as billing every client we had monthly.After spending nearly 20 years at the NYSE, I decided that I needed to step away and work on my mental health. I needed to spend more time with my son Gio as well as pursue my dreams of becoming a “Film Maker”. I had savings to fall back on, so I took some much needed “Me Time”.Not too long after I stepped away, COVID plagued the world. My dreams were put on hold and I was forced to stay inside my home. I was already experiencing my spiritual awakening years prior. I began to realize that things are not what they seem and understood that the world was far more corrupted than I could have ever imagined. That was another reason my soul needed to leave that environment. I began to feel hopeless and gave up. I went through my savings and ended up in a position where I needed a job ASAP. I got hired at Starbucks as a Barista making minimum wage. Talk about a humbling experience and a fall from grace. My EGO took a hit.I have since been promoted to Shift Supervisor and some days I am in charge of running the whole store.The silver lining to COVID was that it gave me an opportunity to sit and reflect. To go deep within myself and get to the root of my personal issues. The healing process began.I was also able to do a lot of research and learned a lot. I began to study astrology. It became my new obsession. During my astrology studies, I happened to stumble across Stock Market Astrology. I believe that you can predict how certain companies are going to do, based upon the planetary positions.My goal is to return to the NYSE where it all began and share these ideas.Update: I am back on the NYSE Trading Floor. I am ready!
