Work directly with our OEM customer base and High Technology Distributors in conjunction with our Inside and Outside Sales groups to offer the best technical support service in the industry. This market differentiation strategy will focus on identifying the unique needs of these partners and providing specific solutions to these needs in the form of outstanding technical support, attention to detail, timely responses, and superior training. • Investigate new customers and applications, learning customer’s business and application, review customer requirements, to develop the best possible new solutions and the most efficient use of products, both standard and custom, with the goal of providing optimum performance for specific applications. • Participate in on-site visits as a member of customer’s design team during the specification and development process, addressing inquiries of a technical nature from customers, and channel partners, and outside/ inside sales personnel. • Provide SW, HW and systems integration support to our customers. • Design, implement and support high performance custom control systems to meet our customers’ needs. Write sample C programs, and simulate customer applications to troubleshoot problems using motors, amplifiers & encoders.• Direct, lead and managing the priorities of team of application engineers.• Responsible for technical leadership and direction of the Applications Team, including providing coaching, feedback, recognition and performance management. • Daily coordination with the engineering teams and sales teams located in the US, Europe and Asia. • Direct and develop programs to service and train OEM customers, Distributors, and Sales personnel on technical aspects of the Danaher product offerings.
