I provide weekly small group instruction to AYS members online. Students in this program are 7-11 years old and are grouped into two levels: Introduction to Music Making (7-8 yr olds) and Training Choir (9-11 yr olds). Online, the two groups rehearse together for the duration of the 1.1/4 hour instruction period. The AYS Training Choir students then are combined with students in other rehearsal locations for performances. -

Soprano IAtlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus Sep 1983 - PresentWoodruff Memorial Arts CenterMember of both the Chamber Chorus and the Big Chorus and I have had the pleasure to sing and record many of the great choral master works of yesterday and today. I auditioned for Robert Shaw with an operatic aria. "Una voce poco fa" and later Mrs. Shaw recommended me to him as a possible member of the Chamber Chorus. Highlights of my career with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus have been our Trips to Europe with Mr. Shaw and Mr. Runnicles. Singing in the Chorus has been the single most consistent thing that I do in my life and has made my life richer.
