In 2021, Combinex entered an even more international market when CH Robinson acquired them. Founded in 1905, C.H. Robinson is one of the largest logistics companies in the world, providing global freight services, logistics outsource solutions, fresh produce sourcing and information services to customers globally, ranging from large, multinational companies to small, local businesses in a variety of industries. C.H. Robinson operates through a network of 280 offices in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. This has opened new doors in taking the next steps in growth and development. CH Robinson Oud-Beijerland arranges road transport with a department dedicated to a fleet of 250 tautliners and 100 refrigerated trailers as well as a brokerage department serving the Benelux, Germany, Austria, France and Scandinavia. It is my responsibility to ensure that we integrate well with the CH Robinson European Network in order to cooperate strongly with the European branches. Due to that cooperation, we are able to grow further as the Oud-Beijerland branch and as a company. Guiding people to develop professionally in order to realize their personal growth ambitions is one of our main goals. As a result of this, our other main goals, quality and turnover, will be achieved.

The expansion and further development of Combinex BV with a clear long-term strategic plan, whereby growth is not the main goal, is our ultimate mission. Quality and a financially healthy business by working on an internal and external long-term relationship are very important. Nowadays, Combinex is divided in Combinex Dry Goods, Combinex Fresh & Frozen and Combinex Polska Sp. z o.o. Both with a brokerage department as well as a dedicated fleet with more than 250 dedicated tautliner and 100 dedicated refrigerated trailers, we offer a variety of services throughout Europe.

From scratch, I built up a brokerage department. Everything from accounting, IT, sales and brokerage needed to be developed. At the peak, we were with 10 employees. Farm Trans preferred to go back to their core business and that’s why they decided not continue with the department. For me, that was the perfect moment to start my own company and therefore, I took over everything and Combinex was born.

I was responsible for the development of the Germany Brokerage Department. During that period, we grew in turnover and also from 3 to 7 employees. On the one hand, we had strong sales plan by phone and on the other hand, we had a solid internal structure for our daily operations.

I started as a planner for the refrigerated trailers, serving from the Benelux to Great Britain and vice versa. We handled FTL and LTL.
