I have 14 years of experience in the Hospitality industry and customer service in the context of hotels and restaurants, including owning my restaurant for about four years. The Hospitality environments I have worked in are within the Wellington district and six months in India. I have undertaken Customer Service in a hotel context providing visitors with night time service covering all departments.I am a bilingual speaker in Indian languages and a fluent speaker of English.I can act diplomatically to resolve customer concerns and have a perception of the different cultural needs of customers.My ability to learn quickly on the job and implement key knowledge has been demonstrated in my hotel work experience. My warm engaging personality with a talent for building relationships has enabled me to use effective communications with customers in a hotel setting. Working as part of a team in Hospitality roles I have remained calm under pressure and used my initiative and planning capacity.I am self-motivated and started my own business in 2013 serving the Upper Hutt district. During this experience, I have developed further skills in understanding cash flow and food service.
