Arif is a senior auditor with more than four years of professional experience in public practice. He has handled various clients across industries, such as multilateral development and offshore banks, insurance and holding companies, credit card processing firm, BPO, manufacturing and retail, construction and non-profit organization, with background in preparing consolidated financial statements.He performs planning and execution of audit procedures to obtain evidence about the amounts and disclosures in the financial statements, including assessment of the risks of material misstatement, evaluation of the appropriateness of accounting policies and the reasonableness of significant accounting estimates, and concluding process of the engagement, such as analytical review of the subsequent events. Likewise, he conducts internal control review based on the criteria established in Internal Control – Integrated Framework (2013) issued by the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (COSO).He has developed broad knowledge in different accounting standards, like the International Accounting Standards (IAS)/ International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the generally accepted accounting principle of the United States of America (US GAAP), and attended relevant training and seminars on tax compliance and regulatory updates, audit management and supervisory, internal controls and PCAOB technical excellence.Alongside with his professional tasks, he also supervises, motivates, and develops engagement staff members by providing advices through counseling and career guidance.
