This up-and-coming local pharmaceutical manufacturer has made it their mission to deliver superior value halalan tayyiban pharmaceuticals and to produce well-trained and competent workforce for the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. The training at IKOP exposed me to hands-on scientific research and development and the ins and outs of pharmaceutical manufacturing while indirectly strengthening my soft skills like time management, conflict resolution, teamwork, communication and creative thinking. I was assigned to several departments such as the Research and Development Department, the Quality Control Department and the Production Department for better exposure to the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. During the industrial training, I was involved with many projects and activities like pharmaceutical product development projects, raw material research, HPLC testing, environmental monitoring, minimum fill testing as well as manufacturing activities. These activities and training undergone at IKOP has introduced me to quality management systems like Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Halal standards system.
