As a Manufacturing Engineer at Barnes Aerospace, I am responsible for developing and optimizing processes for shot peening, heat treatment, machining, tack welding and etching, which are critical for aerospace quality and safety standards. I create and maintain documentation related to NPI processes, such as SOPs, PFMEAs, and technical plans, following AS9100, AS9102, and AS13100 requirements. I also design stamping tools, die-sets, tooling, fixtures, and gauges for sheet metal forming and fabrication processes, in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.With 9 years of experience in high precision and aerospace industry, I have acquired multiple skills and certifications, such as Six Sigma Green Belt, VBA Excel, and SolidWorks/SolidCam. I have also mastered various CNC machines, such as Muratec, Mori Seiki, Okuma, Haas, Kitamura, Fanuc Robodrill, Brother, and Howa. I have successfully supported machining lines for fishing reel and bicycle components production, performed product analysis and new product design, and prepared first articles for new models. I am passionate about continuous improvement, 3D design, and drafting, and I aim to leverage my expertise and knowledge to deliver quality and innovative solutions for Barnes Aerospace and its customers.
