Responsible as subject matter expert for Shot Peen, Machining,0 Heat Treatment, Brazing and Etching process in NADCAP or Customer audit.Create or maintain documentation related to NPI Processes (SOPs, PFMEA, Technical Plan etc) according to AS9100 quality system and AS9102 & AS13100 requirementDevelop processes to optimize efficient process flow, reduce process or product variability and improve process capability.Develop, create & update sheet metal forming / stamping processes and work instructions in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.Design stamping tools, die-sets, tooling, fixtures and gauges for the respective fabrication processes.Develop manufacturing process like Machining, Broaching, Orbital riveting and shot peening for the manufacturing of actuating products.Conduct pre-production pilot run and training for associates.Maintain and modify special processes currently in Production to achieve technical and quality requirements.Provide technical support to Production to achieve technical and quality requirements.Liaise with vendors on product requirements, process qualifications and technology development.Participate and support continuous improvement projects.Multitask other engineering-related duties as assigned.

Daily monitoring of lens production yield (Moulding and Finishing process) and perform quality trouble shooting by liaising with shop floor technician and other functions. Review, trend and monitor Rx, CT, diameter and dimensional performance on a daily basis (based on VMR and lens measurement data). Review targeting (Rx and CT) guidelines from time to time and propose to change when it is necessary (provide data for justification to change). Proactively look for process improvements by using lean six sigma tools. Lead validation activities for new & existing processes, products and equipment’s by preparing and reviewing all the key documents such as URS, FDS, HLRA, etc. As a Subject Matter Expert to support all the execution of the validation activities.Partner with Manufacturing to ensure the execution of the production processes are in compliance to the latest procedures (SOP Review), ISO13485 and FDA requirements. Provide technical information and support to define the technical standards of training for process-related matters within production, to maximize process understanding, to enhance knowledge-based decision making in order to maximize quality and efficiency.Provide subject matter expertise to support inspections and audits.
