 Pilot Project-I: Physiology of Neuron in The Dorsal Raphe. Characterized the mediodorsal raphe nuclei of the mouse brain by using patch-clamp electrophysiology technique. Collected target live brain region by mouse perfusion, brain sectioning, and then mounted over slide Immunohistochemistry. Checked mouse line by using PCR followed by western blotting.  Pilot Project-II: Differentiated the target brain region between mice with Canavan disease and normal group by using immunohistochemistry and stereology and cell culture for gene therapy for Canavan disease Pilot Project-III: The Effects of Mild Traumatic Brain Injury on Catecholamine Efflux in Prefrontal Cortex. Quantified the neuron fibers into the PFC of mTBI rat brain by using Keyence digital microscope and image-J. Was learning characterizing neurons by using HPLC.  Pilot Project-IV: Performed cocaine self-administration and effect of the estrous cycle in cocaine taking behavior of female rats. Examining the effect of cocaine on rat brain after rat perfusion, immunohistochemistry, western blotting, and microscopy.
