CurrentProject-I Primarily working as e a researcher and project manager: Evaluation of Therapeutic Effect for Embolization of Hepatocellular Carcinoma Tumors with Embrace™ HES, Nanoparticles contained gel, different beads and drugs a Translational Rat Model Coordinating with principal investigator, surgeon, respective scientists from collaborative company/labs and core facility Maintaining rat colony: Order rats, based on project wise plan, allocate tumor rats to different cohorts, generate tumors by di-ethyl nitrosamine (DEN) diet, Day to day MRI imaging, and MRI trouble shootings Formulate drug and hydrogel for treating target tumors Measuring tumor kinetics and volume, tumor location on liver by using anatomical knowledge Maintaining continuous supply require for projects (Drugs, particle, different kits, animals, surgery instruments etc.) Data collection, data analysis and data presentation Maintaining sterile condition during surgery, and perform and/or help to perform TAE Regularly performing necropsy and tumor/tissue collection and tissue processing Rat tail vein blood withdraw, catheter implantation, tail vein injection Tissue processing, IHC, slide imaging by using KEYENCE microscopeDeveloping Patient graft xenograft model for HCC Maintaining large mouse colony Measure tumors in mice (regularly), mouse tail vein injection (sometimes) Subcutaneous tumor implantation Helping on Dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP) magnetic resonance spectroscopic imaging (MRSI): Troubleshooting MRI (proton imaging) and Carbon imaging Rat and mouse tail-vein catheter implantation for proton and carbon C-13 imaging Other responsibilities (but not limited to): Provide training to Ph.D./undergrad/high school students Regular daily activities update on digital notebook, maintaining different calendars to complete multiple tasks in daily regular basis Attending weekly one to one meeting, individual project meeting and group meeting
