As an Information Systems researcher, my focus lies in exploring the intricate relationship between data and process within organizational transformations. Specifically, I am intrigued by two crucial aspects: the role of data within business process management and the significance of process management in effective data governance.To delve into these areas of interest, I employ a range of research methods to gather insights and draw meaningful conclusions. One such method is conducting comprehensive case studies, which involve in-depth examinations of real-world organizations and their data and process dynamics. Through these case studies, I aim to uncover patterns, challenges, and best practices that shape the integration of data and process within organizations.Additionally, I utilize simulations as another research approach to create virtual environments that mimic real-world scenarios. By simulating data-driven processes and analyzing their outcomes, I can explore the interplay between data and process, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and propose strategies for optimization.Through my research, I seek to contribute to the understanding of how organizations can leverage data and process management to drive successful transformations.
