Director of FoodTech and Circular Economy in the Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry with a Ph.D. in Immunology and a passion for climbing and big data.In the ministry, I am responsible for two high-profile projects. I lead the construction of the "Israeli national plan for circular economy in the industry" and the establishment of the "national Israeli food institute" in the north.On mid-October 2018 I have finished my postdoc at Weizmann studying T-cell maturation and switched gears to a new position as a Mimshak fellow in the Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry. The science and policy fellowship program "MIMSHAK" was established by the Israel Society of Ecology and Environmental Sciences. The Fellowship cultivates young leadership of scientists to act as scientific advisers within governmental administrations, and to assist in the process of decision-making on acute environmental issues.I have experience in leading and managing projects, including defining the project scope and milestones, managing the project budget, prioritizing and monitoring schedules, and managing the progress and products. Experience in communicating with multiple stakeholders and leading projects in collaboration with different Israeli government offices.I would like to bring the tools I learned in the government into my next position in the industry.
