A nearly three decades long entrepreneurial journey, with a clear focus on Human Growth, says a lot about me. From starting Hyper Island where the team and I laid the groundwork for the view of human beings, processes and methods that still, to this day, make up the base of the school. Via the diligent work at Skillnad, making human and team growth scalable and digilogue. All the way to today's challenge: how can we digitally support big organisations in their development?All of this with a focus on the same question: how can we create spaces, cultures and processes that allow every individual to grow and take responsibility for their own learning and development? An individual who can feel secure in navigating and contributing to a business that is constantly changing along with others.The only thing that has changed is that the focus on scalability has increased. More people are affected.In 1996 I was exploring alongside front running students at Hyper Island. Today, it is alongside L&D specialists who support the growth of hundreds of thousands of people. I am thankful for the trust that is put in me, that allow me to have an impact. But most of all, I am thankful for the belief in human beings!
