I pursued a degree in Biomedical Engineering because of my strengths in math, science and problem solving. After receiving my B.S., I helped Lifescan’s Quality department analyze customer-returned glucose meters. I shifted to software sales to improve my communication, business and leadership skills. My passion in helping others led me back into medical devices where I supported Tusker Medical in Manufacturing, R&D and Quality projects. We received PMA approval for our Breakthrough Class III Device, were acquired by Smith & Nephew and are currently expanding commercialization. Going forward, I want to remain focused on designing and manufacturing medical devices for patients or consumer products for all.
