Starting in March 2020, I was additionally given formal responsibility for product and food safety at SodaStream International BV. This also includes responsibility for compliance with relevant standards and regulations, including ISO 22000, TPED, EED and others.

I started my time at SodaStream by jumping into the ISO 22000 certification project. I played a key role in improving our systems and structures so they would be in accordance with the ISO 22000 requirements. After we succeeded and gained this certification, my daily tasks involved subjects such as:Maintaining the quality management systems and documentation, Coordinating and leading internal and external audits,Leading projects such as implementing our CO2 analysis lab,Developing training materials and hosting training sessions,Leading the HACCP team,Closely supporting the Quality Manager with important tasks,and much more.

I worked as a First Inspector for the Norwegian Food Safety Authority in Oslo, Norway for two years. The first nine months I performed inspections and audits in the HORECA sector. For the last fifteen months my sector was import, and I had a wide range of tasks including audits, controlling consignments, sampling imported foods, public relations, etc.In addition to inspections and audits, I have been responsible for carrying out official control programmes for traces of pesticides and pathogens in fruit and vegetables.
