Management for Hire, engaged by Orkla Eiendom as CEO to Vendere Property AS, former name was Johs Lunde Eiendom AS. Portfolio of properties NOK 700 millions. Strategic Consulting, including business plan & sales strategy development. The background for the MfH was the owners' desire to go to their own, through a sharing of values between the company's owners. As this assignment was concluded impossible, we changed the strategy to realize the company's values.We completed a relocation of the business, a significant downsizing and change of accounting firm and auditor.As effect of these procedures were highlighted, we succeed in finding new owners and carry out a successful sale transactions.

Restructuring and financing

Director Corporate Division, member of top management and participant at board meetings.Was head-hunted to Finansbanken to manage and get financial control of the bank’s shipping portfolio. Due to quick and impressive financial results responsibilities were extended to include the bank’s entire distressed portfolio.In connection with the merger of Finansbanken and Storebrand Bank I was appointed Director of the new bank’s Corporate Division – with line responsibility for a staff of up to 62. Focus was on goal setting, skills development and tight follow up of activity plans. Achievements included substantial portfolio risk reduction, raised skills level and strengthened customer focus among the staff. After having achieved profitability enhancement goals during the initial one year period the Storebrand Bank established a new strategy of focus on private real estate financing. I resigned to join MarchFirst.

Project manager; Strategic Value Initiative, (SVI)Corporate, cross-division human resources and organisational development project of 18 months duration.Involved the Corporate Lending division, Markets division and Private Banking & Asset Management division. Project goals included enhancing the ability of key corporate advisors to give highly qualified advises to clients and organisational development to better co-ordinate product offering from a variety of bank divisions to important customers.General Manager in charge of the corporate distressed credit department, leading a team of 34 highly qualified employees handling DnB’s distressed credits to clients in high risk industries and/or with complex corporate and financial structures. My team achieved very strong results – during a period of financial distress in the Norwegian economy. My responsibilities included budget responsibility and responsibility for developing and implementing strategies and activity plans. I was a member of the DnB Oslo/Akershus regional management board and the bank’s credit committee and a member of several cross-divisional committees and projects.
