Norwegian Smart Care Cluster (NSCC) is a health cluster. We are a national and international collaboration arena for large and small companies, municipalities, hospitals, public organizations, user organizations, academia / R&D institutions and investors, with 280+ members of which 190 are companies. The cluster has its origins in the Stavanger region, but our members are now from all over Norway. Our vision is: Generating impact through Smart Care solutions, and our mission: We work to develop the Norwegian health industry by promoting sustainable solutions that provide a better life for users as well as cost-effective and quality-assured deliveries of health & care services. NSCC is a ARENA PRO member in the Norwegian Innovation Cluster program and Gold certified in the European cluster program ESCA.

Validé AS is the result of the merger between Ipark Incubator AS and Prekubator TTO AS, and was established 1st of January 2016. Validé builds on the successful history and portfolio of its predecessors and combines technology transfer, incubation and investment functions. Validé is the official technology transfer office of the 10 research institutes in Rogaland, and is responsible for the IP portfolio management and commercialization of their intellectual assets. Validé fully facilitates innovation projects from the early R&D phase until commercialization by providing expertise in technology management, startups, incubation, investment, IPR and IP portfolio management, prototyping and product development. Validé offers incubation services to startups including accelerator programs, office space and full service startup packages. Validé also aids in raising funding through various investment schemes including angel, pre-seed and venture capital funding and regional, national and international public funding schemes. In addititon to being the Director for the Health vertical in Validé, I am also the CEO for the Norwegian Smart Care Cluster (see own entry)
