I'm going to pause here and give a link to a great presentation from Stephanie Seneff who is a research scientist at MIT.https://people.csail.mit.edu/seneff/2016/glyphosate_Oct2016.pptxFrom the early 1900s and on we have been depleting the life and nutrition from our soils which has in turn depleted the nutrition from our plants and animals and hence depleted ourselves. Infections and diseases in plants are caused by mineral deficiencies and imbalances and one can only assume that the same holds true for animals (humans). The simplification of plant nutritional needs, the overuse of nitrogen and cheap high salt fertilizers, the overuse of pesticides and herbicides, mono-culture and tilling has led to the decimation of the necessary soil life (fungi, bacteria, protozoa, flagellates, algae), the release of massive amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere that is supposed to be stored in our top soils and the lack of minerals and nutrition throughout the whole food web.One of the worst and biggest culprits is a chemical called glyphosate - you might know it as Roundup. Glyphosate is not necessarily directly harmful to animals but it kills anything with a shikimate pathway meaning all the fungi and bacteria in the soils and the trillions of beneficial bacteria inside of us. These are necessary for our immune system and converting nutrients into a usable form for our body. The research is sad and astounding and most likely there is not a single one of us that doesn't ingest some daily.
