Joined a data engineering team to help meet the hard deadline of an important external deliverable.Contributions: Ingestion of raster/vector geospatial data (from sources such as ECMWF and WRI), final deliverable generator, QA (randomized testing, integrity checking, data tracing), documentation.

Part of a team working on the replacement of internal financial software, later leading half of it as a task-focused group (10/19-8/20). The task solution was verified by the client using production data, automatically ingested by the new system in real time.Contributions: Collection and prioritization of requirements. Infrastructure (e.g., authentication, authorization, retry/recovery, long-running jobs). Locale-aware data handling across the stack (e.g., timezones, number formatting, currency rate update and conversion). Asynchronous, fault-tolerant processing pipelines between persistent data sources for aggregation of and conflict detection in incomplete data arriving out-of-order. Rule-based engine satisfying complex requirements (e.g., multiple rulesets, specificity-based rule prioritization, conditional acceptance of imperfect matches). File import/export in standard (e.g., CSV, PDF) as well as custom (machine-readable) formats.

Research: Feature extraction, compression, completion and denoising in static/dynamic point clouds and meshes.Technical: Data (pre)processing, porting/implementation of routines, pipelines and libraries, prototyping and result evaluation of scientific methods.
