I am a highly motivated IT engineer, with over 13 years of experience in Digitals system solutions design and project management. I have a genuine interest on technology and I am self-driven to improve on my performance and skills and tools, for achieving the best possible results.Since high school years I took a lot of interest in Maths, Physics and basic programming so I chose to follow a highly technical path in Electrical & Electronics field of study. My professional Journey started upon completing my Masters degree in Communications and Signal Processing (Electrical and Electronics Department) in Imperial College London and working as a software engineer in a software house in Newbury, UK where I was programming in C/C++. After that, I returned in Greece where I wanted to explore more on the telecoms and systems area working for 2+ years in an international vendor as a VAS support engineer for Telecom platforms such as SMS gateways, voicemail, call-notification services etc.In my next role, I progressed to work for 5+ years in a software & IT solutions vendor, as a technical analyst and project manager in IT Web-based solutions for international telecom operators. The projects I have undertaken involved interfacing with multiple external systems for providing web based management services to mobile subscribers. In my current role I continue to work as a Technical Project Manager and Business Analyst in OTE IT, where I have collected a vast amount of technical and management skills, designed many different kinds of solutions and types of integrations (API, SDK, DB) taking into account various concerns and constraint factors. Having had a good amount of experience in many different roles, I have built a complete understanding in the product lifecycle and my interests are narrowed in the areas of project management and business analysis. My skills in the two areas have also been supplemented by the excellent performance in the courses and projects that I have undertaken during my studies in Imperial College London which included the development of software related projects both during my thesis and other projects.Both my professional and educational experience in engineering have given me a strong foundation in analysis, organization & prioritization, status/risk assessment, quantitative thinking and quick turnaround solutions mathematics, that are essential in both project management and the software development arena.
