Ari's trajectory addresses simultaneously the two, seemingly contrasting, main frontiers of architecture at once: implementation and theorization, or as commonly termed, practice and project; the profession and academia. Ari is an architect, urban designer, design consultant, and project manager, yet also an educator, writer, critic and researcher with 20+ years of multifaceted professional and academic experience in multiple countries and regions, working with international firms, consulting for the public and private sectors, and serving as faculty in public and private academic institutions. Aristotelis has worked with major New York firms in key projects of international repute, has taught as full-time faculty member or as adjunct studio tutor in professional and accredited programs of Architecture in four countries (U.S.A., Greece, Cyprus, France). His diverse research work has focused on workplace cultures and business environments; on the study of the genre of autobiography in the context of architecture; and on the examination of urbanism as a realm of metaphysics. While actively maintaining a critically-minded architectural practice throughout the past two decades, he has pursued and led more than 20 international urban design competitions with notable success. Aristotheke Eutectonics Office of Architecture and Urban Design continues dynamically today with a diverse series of design research projects counting already more than 35 compete works. His widely published design output combines experimental with pragmatic agendas that link conceptual, academic and scholarly interests to real commissions. His texts and articles on critical architectural issues are featured in magazines, books and periodicals internationally. His balancing of realistic and projective agendas of practice with scholarly research, as well as his multi-scalar professional and academic exposure to diverse realities and differentiated contexts, are strengths that greatly inform his attitude towards the teaching and practice of architecture, aiming for a deeper understanding of the profound complexities of our disciplines.

Founder + Head DesignerAristotheke Eutectonics Office Of Architecture, Urban Design, Design Consulting, Project Management Jul 2002 - PresentAthens, Greece.Aristotheke Eutectonics is a Design Initiative and Architectural Practice reflecting a sheer passion for Architecture at large. The office has entered more than 20 international competitions, has pursued more than 40 architectural conceptualization projects that explore diverse lineages of thought – such as contemporary interventions in the Cycladic landscapes of the Aegean archipelago, and has worked on commissions of residential, commercial, educational, administrative and mixed-use programs. The practice, following a series of international relocation ventures – has inevitably shifted a significant segment of its attention to the incredible intellectual heritage of Hellenism and strives therefore to unfold tectonics as a series of drafts for an autobiography of the future. The office currently develops several _thecae projects. building permits, while in the past has issued permits for a 4-storied steel-framed modern residential addition to a landmarked 2-storied residence in the historic district of Metz in central Athens. The team has worked on a hybrid urban logistics center combining a metropolitan park with a commercial intermodal transportation hub in the Votaniko district of Athens, and on a triplet of private houses in the outskirts of urban Attica.
