FlatFurnish is an online rental store for home furnishings and appliances for students, professionals, bachelors, startups who do not enjoy investing a lot of money into furniture to live comfortably.Conceptualized by 3 college mates and bootstrapped in November, the business model kicked off with a strong influx of consumer interest and positive reviews and referrals. It was a great learning experience with the nuances of running a consumer facing business; right from building the entire infrastructure, to handling customer care, we took turns stepping into each of these roles.Distinguished from conventional buy/sell platforms, crafted a specialized website catering to rental scenarios, streamlining product browsing, order creation, and subscription management. Implemented effective automations to minimize logistical operational burdens. As the technical lead, initiated website development from scratch and established expedited deployment procedures, facilitating rapid reactive adjustments.Orchestrated financial processes encompassing vendor payments & consumer rental collections on a monthly basis.
