Responsible for the operation and maintenance of Secondary Butyl Alcohol and Methyl Ethyl Ketone production units, including:• Developing PFD and P&IDs.• Preparing documents such as Line lists, Equipment lists, Utility summaries, Instrument indexes, and adequacy studies.• Performing process calculations, including pump NPSH (Net Positive Suction Head), hydraulic calculations, line sizing, control valve CV calculations, material balance, steam and energy balance, and utility consumption.• Proficient in equipment sizing and preparing equipment and instrument datasheets.• Creating process worksheets and demonstrating. • • Proficiency in MS Office and Aspen HYSYS.• Having knowledge on APS codes & Standards.• Monitoring and controlling process parameters using the YOKOGAWA Centum VP 5000 Distributed Control System (DCS).• Experienced in operating CSTR, Tubular Reactors, Simple, Vacuum, and Azeotrope distillation columns, as well as steam production systems.• Handling various materials and chemicals, including hydrocarbons, Secondary Butyl Alcohol, Methyl Ethyl Ketone, weak HCL, sulfuric acid, etc., and ensuring safe start-up and shut-down procedures.• Promoting coordination and fostering a teamwork culture.
