Responsible for Commercialisation of infrastructure and applications products globally

Each year the Dutch do almost 3 billion Debit Card Transactions and 150 million Credit Card transactions while paying over the counter in shops, restaurants, bars and gasstations. In various webshops the Dutch pay over 300 million times online annually. There are 25 million Debit Cards and over 6 million Credit Cards in the Netherlands making these various payments possible. Mastercard facilitates a substantial part of these transactions under the Maestro and Mastercard brands in close cooperation with partners like all major Dutch banks, acquirers and other payment facilitators. As Country Manager I was overall responsible for Mastercard's products, services, operations and P&L for the Netherlands.

Geld Service Nederland (GSN) delivers all cash management and cash logistics services in the Netherlands for the three major Dutch banks: ABN AMRO, ING Bank and Rabo Bank. GSN employs approximately 500 FTE and is founded in 2010. Currently GSN has transformed in to Geldmaat.

Each year there are 10 billion payments in the Netherlands (on average almost twice a day for every Dutch person). ING facilitates more than one third of these payments with debit cards, credit cards, cash, direct debits and credit transfers through internet and mobile phones. As Head of Payments I was responsible within ING Netherlands for all payments products and processes for all ING Retail and Business customers. I was responsible for large projects like the implementation of SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area), completely new IT systems for Debit Cards, the integration of Postbank and ING Bank for Private Banking and commercial customers and the outsourcing of all ING cash processes to Geldservice Nederland. Part of my job was to represent ING in the following forums:- Payments Commission of the Dutch Banking Association- MasterCard Customer Advisory Board Netherlands- Licensee Board Currence and iDEAL- Advisory Board of Dutch Payments Association- Efficient Payments Forum: quarterly forum with all major Dutch banks and major Retail organisations

Responsible for all insurance activities (productmanagement, operations and IT) within ING Retail Netherlands (Postbank and ING Bank). Statutory responsible Postbank Verzekeren, business unit with E 500+ million premium income, 300 FTE and a top 10 position in the Dutch mass life and non-life insurance market

For the integration of Postbank and ING Bank in the Netherlands a new branch concept was developed and implemented at all 300 ING branches with over 1500 employees. For this completely new IT systems were developed and implemented for the cash,sales and service processes at these branches. Overall responsible for this project with a budget over E 250 million.

Responsible for marketing of ING in the Czech and Slovak Republics for insurance and banking for both retail and commercial clients

Responsible for nation wide sales force of 700 tied agents in 12 branches and for marketing of ING Life in the Philippines

Part of the team to set up a joint venture between ING Life Korea and Korea Housing & Commercial Bank (largest Korean mortgage bank)
