As of May 1st 2023 I was appointed as Finance Director of Comet Distribuciones Comerciales (hereinafter: Comet Spain) in Urnieta (San Sebastián vicinity). Comet Spain is a so-called wholesaler. It sells bicycle parts and accessories to retailers and e-tailers in Spain, Portugal, Andorra, Canary Islands and France. The central warehouse and offices are located in Urnieta. Comet sources its products from different suppliers, independently or dependent based on central conditions negotiated by Accell Group. Further Comet sources from other Group companies if necessary.My main tasks are:o Co-develop and implement the local integrated bicycles and P&A strategy.o Building the transformation from ‘as is’ to ‘to be’.o Support the Managing Director and Management Team as partner in business.o Improve the organization’s processes by aligning them end-to-end with the strategy and the goal of improving efficiency.o Focus on cost savings.

As of September 1st 2023 I was appointed as Finance Director of both Accell Spain and Accell France. Accell France is a bicycles manufacturing company based in Dijon, France. The company sells bicycles of the brands Lapierre, Winora, Haibike and Ghost in France.Lapierre the main bicycle brand are ridden by French UCI World Team Groupama-FDJ and FDJ Suez Futuroscope. It sells bicycles to retailers in the Benelux, France, Spain, Andorra, Canary Island and Italy.My main tasks are:o Co-develop and implement the local integrated bicycles and P&A strategy for Spain and France.o Building the transformation from ‘as is’ to ‘to be’.o Support the Managing Director and Management Team as partner in business.o Improve the organization’s processes by aligning them end-to-end with the strategy and the goal of improving efficiency.o Focus on cost savings.

At Accell Group I am implementing the risk management program centered on the Company's strategy. The program includes a top-down and bottum-up analysis and assessment of the Company's risks. Concrete achievements includes the establishment of Accell Group's risk register and periodic risk assessments in order to update the Company's risk profile and thereby drive key mitigation efforts. I was given the opportunity to further professionalize the risk management process. These steps include the establishment of the Risk Advisory Board which carries the responsibility of overseeing and facilitating the risk management process. The Risk Advisory Board serves as the linking pin between the business and second line of defense, which mostly consists of staff functions. In my role as risk manager I fulfill the role of core member within the Risk Advisory Board, creating awareness with the risk owners and bridging the gap between the current mitigating controls and the desired mitigating controls.

In my role I am the first point of contact for all internal control related topics. This includes building awareness on in-control and building the internal control framework for financial key controls. I train the finance and management teams to implement the internal control framework approach.I work pro-actively with IT and the business to reduce the number of executed and potential risks.

As of October 2011 Accell Group established an internal audit department, I wasappointed as the first internal auditor of Accell Group and was given the opportunity to build the internal audit department from scratch. I reported directly to the Chairman of the Audit Committee and to the Chief Financial Officer. I carried out a wide range of investigations including fraud investigations and custom investigations. The internal audit department of Accell Group consists of three employees. In addition to the head of internal audit, there is a data analyst and an auditor specialised in IT audits. My day-to-day work consists of managing all internal audit tasks, these include:• Develop and execute the internal audit strategy.• Preparing the yearly internal audit plan.• Performing internal audits in various countries.• Writing internal audit reports.• Discuss findings with local management.• Monitor actions plans.• Participate in strategic discussions and in main strategic change processes.• Discuss observations with the Audit Committee.• Manage, develop and coach the highly qualified team.I introduced data-analytics in the audit. A pilot was held and based upon the experiences with data-analytics the decision was made to hire a data-analyst assigned to the internal audit team. The internal audit department of Accell Group has set the goal to deploy to continuous auditing and continuous monitoring. I conducted internal audits in England, France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Turkey, North America, China and Taiwan. The internal audit department is involved in all large projects for example the centrally led ERP replacement program and the assessment of the master data readiness.
