In 1994 Arjan got a master of science degree in Business Information Systems (Econometrics) at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. He started his professional career at the Olivetti Company in Leiden. As a programmer/analyst, he worked for several customers (KLM, Ministry of Justice, Interpolis) in the field of document- and workflow management. As the fifth employee Arjan started in 1996 as a workflow consultant for Pallas Athena. Since then, he worked for several companies like SFB Group, ING Bank, the municipal of Amsterdam and the Ministry of Justice. In 2002 Arjan became team lead of the technical consultants. Slowly his focus moved towards management. For a long time Arjan was a member of the Delivery MT and responsible for resource management. In 2011 Arjan became development manager of the BU Solutions & Projects, including Solution Management and Support Management.In Q3 2011 Pallas Athena was acquired by Lexmark. The R&D department of Pallas Athena became part of the Perceptive Software organization, being a separate BU of Lexmark. Arjan was responsible for Release Management & Project Management in the EMEA region. He was also responsible for the implementation of the Agile development framework in this region.Since August 2015 Arjan is a ScrumMaster / Teamlead and member of the management team of the ICT Software Solutions department of the Triodos Bank in Zeist, the Netherlands. He's also responsible for release management and support management (incident-, problem and change management).
