His short films Palabas (A Country in Moving Pictures) & My Father is an Astro-Not were nominated for the Best Short Film at the 42nd & 44th Gawad Urian (Filipino Film Critics), respectively.His films have been selected at the 25th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival & 18th EBS International Documentary Festival (South Korea), 23rd Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (Japan), 16th, 17th & 18th Festival International Signs of the Night (France), 34th, 35th & 38th InterFilm Berlin, 26th Internationale Kurzfilmwoche Regensburg & 21st Landshut Short Film Festival (Germany), 18th Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival (Nepal), 12th Szczecin Film Festival (Poland), 21st Soria International Film Festival (Spain), 15th Prague Short Films Festival (Czech Republic), among others.
