I founded EveryDayDreamers as a digital marketing agency with a focus on copywriting. We believe that strong copy is the backbone of most digital marketing. We spend most of our time at EDD creating funnels for our clients. These funnels range from longer nurture-type social media funnels (where we create digital groups and communities to position our clients as experts) to simpler PPC funnels to a lead magnet or landing page with email followup and retargeting. During my time at EveryDayDreamers I've also largely been in charge of developing our website and our clients' websites. This includes:• Creating an in-house UI framework based on Vue, Vuetify, and extension components.• Building multiple client websites as part of larger campaigns that helped them improve SEO. Mostly used Nuxt.js and Next.js.• Developed custom Shopify subscription apps using Vue and Express.js.• Designing and developing the company website, ensuring a steady flow of targeted traffic and helping facilitate company growth.• Managing a team of eight employees, two of whom were developers.

• Assisted in designing and creating a complete web application that streamlined WillDan's many team processes into one pipeline.• Conducted user and stakeholder interviews that ensured I created the design in the most intuitive and practical way possible.• Developed the front-end functionality of the application in a way that worked with the designs and the desired functionality.• Estimated this platform will save Willdan millions of dollars in time spend.

I was hired by the Science Policy department in UNESCO to work on two main projects InsSciDE and PERFORM. InsSciDE is about creating channels, policies, and a culture of shared science diplomacy across Europe. I wrote and implemented the communication plan for the project. I also helped create and maintain the project website, newsletters, and various other communicative materials for the project to use and present. PERFORM is about using innovative communication methods (think comedy, clowns, etc) to engage kids in learning STEM subjects. My main contributions to this project involved helping maintain the website and ensuring attendance at their 2018 conference (for which I wrote the opening speech).

Flipside Marketing is an awesome marketing firm that believes in working exclusively for clients whose vision the team can truly believe in. I was in charge of certain client's and thier satisfaction. However, as with any startup, my role was ever changing; and at times included event planning, social media work, and finding new clients.

As the Marketing Coordinator for the Vancouver International Busker Festival, I advertised the festival in a variety of different ways spanning from social media to guerilla marketing to ensure optimal turnout. I was responsible for reaching out to various different media outlets to secure partnerships and led a team at the festival to guarantee maximum media coverage on all platforms.Facebook, Twitter, and our website 400% increase in engagement in my first year as the festivals Marketing Coordinator.

I was employed to this end and began by setting up various social media platforms for them with the intention of driving traffic to their main site. Starting from scratch is challenging, but all areas showed significant and measureable growth. I manage their Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, and Pinterest page.
