I teach animation and game design to children in primary school and early highschool, inspiring and imparting the knowledge I have gained throughout the years to the next generation. I work on-site at the schools we are contracted with for after-school lessons and also online tutoring through Zoom sessions. I teach the children the 12 principles of animation and various theories and techniques used by industry professionals but in a form that is comprehensible to the children their age. I use programs such as Scratch for animation and game design through block chain coding, Piskel and Powerpoint for traditional frame-by-frame animation. I teach them various art styles such as pixel art and other popular designs using the subjects they are interested in to keep them engaged, excited and keep their creative minds active.
