Late 2012 Unilever decided to centralize its European marketing and support teams in the Rotterdam head office as the new European hub for marketing and innovation. As the project manager I was responsible for:- HR Services: Attraction to the hub and helping people with their decisions; relocation of few hundred people across the continent; recruitment of vacancies.- Workplace & IT: Complete refurbishment of 14.000m2 that transformed the Corporate HQ to an energizing and inspiring brand hub for marketing & innovation with state of the art brand experiences, innovation labs, branding, services and IT/AV.- General management: Stakeholdering at board level, finance and keeping the different teams aligned.Most rewarding was to work with a fantastic team of committed individuals working towards a collective goal.

The Deodorants category, with brands like Dove, Axe/Lynx and Rexona, is a key priority for Unilever to grow in Europe. The 16 different countries in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) are in different stages of market development for Deodorants. I assisted with developing and implementing the category and brand marketing strategy in CEE. My responsibilities: - Market analysis (consumer/customer/competitor) - Identifying key problems and opportunities looking at innovation portfolio & propositions, pricing, sourcing, channels.- Working with the individual country organizations to co-create and implement a new marketing strategy and find a suitable investment models.
