I'm one of the organisers of this meetup and president of the nonprofit organisation that runs it.

My site where I write articles and do screencasts about mostly AWS related subjects.

This role had several titles, but it concerns designing and building cloud solutions for multiple clients as well as leading a team of engineers. I lead projects from at least a technical perspective and for some projects I am fully responsible. Since 2018 I have also acted as Bulletproof's AWS APN Ambassador, the global program that replaced the ANZ specific Cloud Warrior program.I am also a frequent speaker at meetups and events.

Worked on projects tot deliver cloud solutions in AWS for multiple clients. Among other things, this included highly scalable infrastructure and CI/CD toolchains.

I was responsible for designing web applications and other IT solutions in cooperation with the client as well as implementing these. This included designing and implementing their infrastructure in an AWS environment using DevOps tools like AWS CloudFormation and Chef. These applications ranged in size from tiny to some having millions of visitors.Part of my duties was also supporting and teaching other developers, which included among others setting up development environments using Vagrant or Docker and setting up a flexible CI/CD system.

Traveling the world and the seven seas.

Working on web development projects. This included building an application for handling grant requests, designing an API for a mobile application and setting up continuous integration tools.

I am responsible for the development and maintenance of all application used within the company, leading a team of about 10 programmers. Aside from this I am part of the management team, where I help to determine the plans for the company.

Managing software projects, specifically front-end applications, for the company

Programming in PHP for mostly internally used applications. Design of applications and infrastructure. Guidance of interns, job interviews, policy decisions (only for application management).

Owner/founder of a small store that sold computers/computer parts. Most activities were handled by others.

I was an intern at the R&D department during which time I wrote my thesis based on the work I did here.
