This Project included transition from open pit mining to UG operations, sinking of rock hoisting shaft (3.75 mTPA capacity, 7.5 m diameter X 900 m deep) and two ventilation shafts (7.5 m diameter X 600 m deep). I was responsible for work execution, safety management, project progress, managing internal and external stake holders, manpower control and managing international contractor from South Africa M/s Shaft Sinkers SA, with workforce of 400 people at site including 40 to 50 Expats from South Africa, Australia and Zambia.
