My key assignment was Project Head for mining and Shaft sinking Project (250 million USD) at Rampura Agucha Mines, Bhilwara. This Project included transition from open pit mining to UG operations, sinking of rock hoisting shaft (3.75 mTPA capacity, 7.5 m diameter X 900 m deep) and two ventilation shafts (7.5 m diameter X 600 m deep). I was responsible for work execution, safety management, project progress, managing internal and external stake holders, manpower control and managing international contractor from South Africa M/s Shaft Sinkers SA, with workforce of 400 people at site including 40 to 50 Expats from South Africa, Australia and Zambia. In June 2022 I have joined M/s Shivakriti International Ltd Jaipur, as CEO.M/s SIL Jaipur is a railway infrastructure company, with turnover of 350 crores, executing various track linking, railway signaling & electrification and anti-collision KAVACH projects across India. I was team Leader for successful transition from open pit mining to UG mining, executing the decline development, reaching production level and commencing Ore production in 2013. Handed over to Operations team and moved to Shaft works.Responsible for Shaft Sinking package, mine infrastructure development, Paste filling plants and Ventilation system package. Achieved important milestone of Crushing system, Conveyors & Winder hoisting system commissioning and rock hoisting in March2020. Project was conceptualized and initiated in May2012, for Sinking of two Ventilation shafts 500 m deep and One Production shaft, capacity 3.75 mtpa (950 m deep and 7.5 m diameter) with 7 kms of mine development and infrastructure build up. Project included land acquisition, environment clearances and project was successfully completed.
