Gas Processing Plant (Trinidad):- Process Simulation of a cryogenic LNG production plant using Design II software. Simulation used to design and evaluate process modifications to account for changing feed Natural Gas composition.- Detailed process design of the modifications including development of P&IDs, Piping Isometrics, Hydraulic Calculations, Control Philosophy, Cause & Effect Matrix, Instrument Datasheets, etc.Reactor Modelling:- Mathematical modelling of industrial Ammonia & Methanol reactors using MATLAB.- Models used to study effect of varying bed volumes, inlet temperatures, quench flow rates, inlet composition, etc. on reactor production for given catalysts.Sea Water Cooling System Hydraulic Analysis:- Developed detailed hydraulic model of the sea water cooling loop of an Ammonia plant.- Study conducted to determine suitability of existing sea water supply pumps and piping for increased flow rate from a new cooling tower. Results of the model summarized and submitted to the client as part of final report.Acid Gas Removal:- Developed simulations for the CO2 removal section of an Ammonia plant using ProTreat & Design II software.- Plant having issues with high CO2 slip. Simulations used to analyze effect of varying different system parameters. - Results of simulations used in making recommendations to the client as part of the final report.
