Validation of the Co-simulation Engine coupling with FINE/MARINE ISIS-CFD solver developed at Ecole Centrale Nantes, and ABAQUS structural solver using 2D benchmark case of Fluid Structure Interaction during flow over rigid cylinder attached to flexible plate and Dam break over an elastic wall.Implemented a code in FORTRAN within the ISIS-CFD dynamic library, which accounts for the numerical instabilities due to added mass effect when the density of the fluid is similar to that of the structure.
