I believe that sound education is the means that not only changes the individual career but also contributes to the overall development of a country. I enjoy teaching very much, and the happiest moments would be once I am able to make children understand the esoteric ideas they are grappling with, and they come up with their faces lighted up. However, school is not an ideal zone as such, but rather the space where uneven knowledge production and consumption are legitimized through power and politics along with domination and discrimination. Hence, it requires immediate intervention to ensure social justice through the exploration and integration of unacknowledged knowledge and skills of the marginalized sections with the education system.
