College student from a small town with dreams as big as the universe (literally!). The seed of wanting to study the galaxy found its roots in 2022 while studying – ‘Life in the Universe & Laws of Physics’ at UChicago Summer Immersion. It gave me the opportunity to work with my course professor in ‘Causal Set Theory’ and opened the door for me to research ‘Brown Dwarf Evolution’ with a professor in India. I have found my sweet spot intertwining Astrometry with Geometry and Python with Statistics for my research. What fascinates me about Astronomy is that even though I am knee-deep in STEM, it feels like I am studying world history as I uncover the hidden past of our galaxies. My love for the stars is complemented by my love for the strings. I am a metal guitarist who finds nothing sweeter (and harder) than the sound of perfectly played riffs!
