Fox Hotel and Suites

• Dealing with all the day to day transactions of the hotel and any and all guest complaints and needs.• Creating work schedules for a staff to cover all shifts as well as deal with any internal issues including disciplinary actions to deliver excellent customer service.• Integrating other hotels into our chain including training, managing and assigning responsibilities for efficiency and effectiveness.• Software evaluation and development for our POS system.• Responsible for making and keeping to budget as well as meeting company targets and goals.• Using social media to promote the hotel and increase sales.

• Operating and running a movie theater from scratch, setting up contracts and overseeing the daily operations. • Implementing procedures and processes to maintain a smooth operation.• Staff management of all ages 14 and above.• Liaising with booking agents, independents and theater agencies to provide quality entertainment.• Ordering food products while keeping to budget and maintaining food costs.• Inventory control and tracking.

• Manager on duty role – responsible for managing front desk activities, assessing issues as they pertain to daily operations and allocating resources to deal with superior hotel management issues.• Responsible for conflict management and issue resolution with regard to guest complaints.• Responsible for managing all hotel departments including Maintenance, Housekeeping and the Restaurant to ensure they continue to work together as a cohesive and efficient group on their day-to-day duties

• Responsible for balancing all day-to-day transactions including the restaurant. Additionally responsible for managing the hotel and any guest issues or potential problems during the evening hours

• Responsible for delivering luggage and helping guests with travel activities and information on the National Park itself.

• Responsible for maintaining a standard of cleanliness in compliance with hotel policies and Alberta standards.

• Responsible for payroll, inventory, ordering, checking end-of-day sales, floats were balanced as well as dealing with any problems or issues both internal and external on a daily basis, including a safe working environment.
