As a Research Assistant at Lear, I play a vital role in supporting the European Commission’s efforts to enhance their merger control processes. Working within a focused data analyst team, I contribute by organizing and encoding M&A decisions into a comprehensive database that facilitates quicker and more informed decision-making~Successfully analyzed and encoded over 200 M&A cases into a comprehensive database, creating a valuable resource that enables the European Commission to streamline their review, quickly reference past decisions, and significantly reduce the time required to finalize new merger cases.~Through close collaboration with a team of Analysts, Economists and Data specialists, I have enhanced my ability to work within a diverse, cross-functional environment, ensuring that all relevant data is both accurate and readily accessible~My work has directly contributed to the acceleration of decision-making processes, helping to shape fair competition policies that safeguard consumer interests and promote economic stability.
