I am a Tutor in the "Understanding The City" (UTC) Foundation Studio at Faculty of Planning. This is a foundation program designed for post graduate students of Faculty of Planning. All the students in the post-graduate programs of Urban Planning, Housing, Urban Infrastructure, Transportation Planning and Urban Design go through this foundation course. Each tutor is responsible for his unit of 15 students who are taught modules such as Urban morphology, History, Streets, Built Form, Land Use, Housing and Jobs, Public Transport, Urban Infrastructure and Governance. Each tutor is also responsible for designing a module of the afore mentioned ones and delivering an input lecture for the same. I am in charge of the "Streets" module which looked at concepts of street networks, connectivity, accessibility, equity on streets. I was also Tutor at the Winter School (2020 (online studio)-London-New York, 2021 (online studio)-London and 2022 (conducted offline in Kuala Lumpur). In the second semester I was the Tutor at Development Plan Studio (Masters in Urban Planning, Faculty of Planning). In this studio, students learn the process of preparation of Development Plans for selected cities across India. They are taught concepts of zoning, land use planning, development control guidelines, street networks, green blue networks and physical infrastructure. The studio is designed to be very interactive with stakeholder interactions, field visits, transect studies, case studies of best practices and guest lectures by domain experts. I am also the co-ordinator for Directed Research Project (DRP) in the fourth semester at Masters in Urban Planning. It involves scheduling of the juries and submissions for students across the semester, co-ordinating with the DRP review panel for the juries and co-ordinating with the DRP guides and students right across the semester. I also co-tutored the Contemporary Planning Practices (CPP) for the fourth semester students in the MUP program.
