Yahoo search products generate petabytes of data that is hosted on Hadoop HDFS, Hadoop ecosystem technologies and Oracle RAC is used to build data marts and various data extract solutions for reporting. Responsibilities- Understanding search business and performing data analytics on search data feeds- Oracle RAC Data warehouse data mart design and development for reporting.- Developing ETL solutions using Hadoop ecosystem technologies HDFS, Oozie, Pig, Hive, sqoop- Developing Oracle PL/SQL code modules and ETL using metadata driven architecture.- Building, tuning and maintaining SQL code for data warehouse larger than 350 terabytes- Resolving issues related to production support and providing permanent fixes for defects- Participating in code review, data analysis, data issue fixing and code performance optimization• Building ad hoc reports for business customers using Pig or Toad/SQL developer

As part of Wachovia - Wells Fargo merger, all Wachovia Wholesale online portal customers were required to be enrolled into Wells Fargo online. Wachovia wholesale enterprise data was integrated as per business rules into Wells Fargo using Informatica. More than 50 million data elements were migrated from Wachovia west to Wells Fargo east on record schedule time.Responsibilities -Interacting with customers and various interfacing support teams-Understanding project requirements and creation of code design artifacts-Developing ETL code using Informatica power center, Oracle PL/SQL and SQL server-Optimizing and developing reusable shared code components (mapplets/lookups/transformations/user defined functions/parameterized functions etc.)-Design and development of reporting layer for generation of rejection reports using SSRS(Triage/Metrics)-Participating in peer code review, fixing code defects, analyzing data issues and performing test loads
