Working as Manufacturing / process Design Engineer. Responsible for 1. Check feasibility for Machining process, prepare RFQ for NPD 2. Decide optimised process flow and do risk analysis. 3. Prepare Capex and new requirement for project. 4. Raise enquiry, take follow up and do technical discussion machine, Fixture and Tooling and gauge vendor. 5. Prepare a time bond activity and define roles and responsibilities of teams. 6. Prepare APQP documents. 7. Installations ND commitoning of new fixtures and machines. 8. Take a trial and Process validation. 9. Involved in development activities till PPAP batch and PPAP documents submissions. 10. Three months observation and problem solving of project, give training and handover the project to production department. 11. Looking for process improvement of brown projects, Tooling trial and technology upgradation. 12. Leading IATF 16949 audit, prepare system and documentation of IATF 13. Auto cad, feature cam, and Delcam and UG NX softwares, hands of experience. 14. Making of new PFC, PFMEA and Control plan for NPD as per standards. A) New Product Process Design. - Design the process suitable for new product development. - Responsible for preparation of PFD, Process sheet, control plan, PFMEA for new product. - Decide the Fixture ( location, Orientation, resting and clamping) sutaible for new product. - Discuss Tooling and gauging requirement for new product with vendor & decide suitable Tooling & gauging. - study tool behaviour during Development and define tool life, Process parameters for tool suitable during production. B) New product Manufacturing - Responsible for Installation of Fixture on machine. - Taking the component Machining trial to maintain the component dimn. as per the control plan. - Study & observe the Manufacturing problems, find the root causes & resolve the problems. - Monitor all the process till dispatch of comp.- Conduct different tool trials to reduce the cycle time, to avoid the multiple Tooling. - Aware all critical process like Gundrill, ID grinding, MPI, Torquing, Induction Hardening, Tempering, NDT Process. C) Engineering Documents. - Prepation of all Engineering related PPAP and APQP documents. - Study the feasibility and modification of internal drawing as per ECN. - Preparation of child parts drawing, Fixture parts drawing, special gauge drawing. - Preparation of operating & setting Work instruction, Tool life standards, and quality alerts. D) New product Die Design. - Making of new Die design as per customer requirement.
