•Monitoring the consumable storage, handling, packing and drying temperature as per project-approved procedure.• Assure all technical documents relative to site quality control are in the current status.• Preparation of Inspection Test Plan (ITP) & Quality Procedures for Piping, Painting & Sandblasting, Structural & Static Equipment. • Knowledge of GTAW, SMAW, FCAW and SAW of different materials such as CS, SS, Alloy steel, Inconel and Duplex steels.• Reporting to QA/QC Manager on quality matters and inspections done.• Monitor the implementation of all stage-wise inspections as per approved ITP with the Client, Owner & consultant. • Liaise with third-party inspection agencies, NDT subcontractors and external labs for inspection, testing and audits.• Preparation of test packages for pneumatic and hydrostatic tests.• Review the client specification and undertake relevant training for the site QC inspector.• Managing and monitoring non-conformance (NCR).• Examining all internal and external surfaces of pressure vessels, columns and exchangers for evidence of corrosion, pitting, cracking, leakage, bulges, defects in metal plate, lamination, deformation, alignment and mechanical damage.• Ensuring all structural installations are installed as per drawings.• Carrying out pre-blasting inspection & post-blasting Inspections.• Inspection and reporting of painting activities.
