⦁ Responsibilities: ⦁ Handling Trade Transaction such as Issuance of Guarantees, Import and Export Letter of Credits, Collection Documents, LC Documents, Negotiating Bills & Trust Receipts.⦁ Handling all external and internal customer inquiries.⦁ Receive original LC documents, APM and local/Direct settled documents/advices from FTC Dubai and deliver to customer under acknowledgement.⦁ Balance all outstanding documents annually and evidence the same.⦁ Generate copies of LC Issuance and Amendment from Flex Cube based on customer request.⦁ Ensure Export LC advising charges are debited or recovered from customer account.⦁ Handling of Wage Protection System (WPS) & UAE Fund Transfer System (UAEFTS) client agreements.⦁ Ensure UAEWPS, UAEFTS and C-Three Salary payments are processed within Central Bank cut-off time.⦁ Preparation of MIS, business requirement documents and posting financial vouchers on core banking system.⦁ Verify the minimum mandated security features as per Central Bank Guidelines.⦁ MSCS Data Capturing for Cheques and Cash Transactions throughout the day.⦁ Magnetic Ink Character Recognition Encoding for Outward Clearing Cheques.⦁ Reconcile and Generate the Reports from ICCS system such as Accepted, Rejected, Discarded & Return Memos)

Forex,CLS-TreasuryReleasing of the foreign exchange and money market inter-bank and custody deals wherein I was responsible to make sure that the FX and money market deals booked via brokers is appropriate as agreed upon.Reconciliation of the journal entries for the foreign exchange deals in the company’s books of accounts.Handle investigation cases relating to any discrepancy in the Foreign Exchange deals that was agreed upon. Non-deliverable forwards (NDF) processing and exceptional handling.Preparing of manual swifts for movement of funds (MT202, MT202 cover, MT103)On being a part of Continued Link Settlement (CLS) Control Branch:⦁Continuous linked settlement being the most critical process becomes vital activity as it’s just not the financial. ⦁Being a part of this process it becomes utmost important to be cautious, vigilant and proactive. ⦁Merging the net figures of all the entities (both inter-bank and 3rd party obligations) settling their deals through CLS to derive a consolidated pay in and pay out obligations for Northern Trust.⦁Sending swift messages to respective nostros requesting them to pay the same to the CLS bank. We have to make sure that the payments should reach CLS bank within time without which we would have to bare heavy penalty.⦁CLS control branch acts as a Nostro for USD and pay the entities if they have to receive USD from CLS bank.⦁Marketing, testing and onboarding on non CLS settlement eligible clients to settle in CLS.⦁Bangalore being the only center of excellence for CLS settlement for whole of Northern trust hence get opportunity to constantly liaise with clients and Fundmanagers.⦁Responsible to repair out the deals that are stuck in MDMH exception rejection queue and do manual movement of funds via swift messages for the currencies that have undergone Nostro transition.⦁Sending the new fund IDs for the necessary OFAC checks and setting up the new fund managers to onboard CLS.
