Key Deliverables:  Conceptualized & implemented SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for purchase 0f 60 plus plants spread across India & Globally. Alternate source development which resulted in saving of around 8% of annual Spent.  Six Sigma - Improved Service Level agreement for conversion of purchase requisition to Order (more than 80% of the orders are released as per SLA). Also optimize time frame from receipt of material to payment to supplier (Cycle time reduction form 49 days to 30 days). Use of Renewable Energy sources - Procurement of Solar Roof top panels across India – Capacity built around 3 MW. Use of LED light in place of CFL. Use of energy efficient motors in green field & brown field projects. Successful implementation of “Parivartan Project” along with M/s Accenture. Use of Category Management Approach in handling various spends. Effective strategy planning & execution to achieve annualised savings.  Ensure proper source selection and source development. Identify different risk, assess the impact & likelihood, and take action.

Role: Responsible for Supply chain of Manufacturing plant, Project Purchase for Refrigeration System.Key Deliverables:  Procurement of Items Viz. Fabricated Equipments, Motors, Piping Bulks ,Cables, Switchgear Panels, Light Fittings, Instrumentation Items Lead and manage the procurement activities, which include planning and implementation of strategic procurement activities  Prepare cost estimation & Monitor Cash Flow requirements.  To expedite deliveries of materials & provide effective logistics support. Formation Purchase Team  Deal with External & internal Audit, in control Activities.Notable Achievement: Alternate source developed which ensured competitive pricing (Saving of around 4% above benchmark) & timely delivery (reduction in delivery lead time by 2 weeks).  Formation of competent Purchase team who was instrumental in handling 25- 30 brown field Projects per annum across India. Effective monitoring of cash flow for Projects & strict budgetary control (without utilising 5% contingency).
