Having worked in post-production for the past six years and with sound in particular for the past two and a half years, I am familiar with all facets of what goes into completing a film. Trained by NYU to engineer Foley, ADR, and Mix sessions, I work with graduate and undergraduate students who are trying to optimize the sound for their films as an engineer. I also take on clients for larger projects as a sound designer, cleaning up dialogue, placing and recording sound effects, and finishing up the mix for theatres, television or web. Films that I have worked on have gone to show in museums such as the Nanticoke Museum in Millsburo Deleware, on New York 21, publicity screenings for production companies such as Last Pictures, and film festivals such as NewFest and L.A. Comedy Shorts. “God of Love,” a short that I sound designed, earned me a Sound Design Craft award at New York University’s First Run Film Festival, and went on to win a Student Academy Award.Having worked as a freelance sound designer for the past two and a half years and as a production mixer for the past year, I have become experienced in working with clients and helping them create their vision; through this, I have truly come to believe that sound is at the very least half of the entire film watching experience.
