I have been appointed the Executive Director for the Leeds race to be held in March 2022 as part of the 24 Hour Race Organisation's expansion initiative to Universities across the globe. Being part of an organisation that raises funds to support victims of modern day slavery is incredible and I will be responsible to see the organisation of the event from start to finish. My key responsibilities include: • Collaborating closely with a non-profit organisation, 24-Hour Race, to raise funds to support victims of modern-day slavery. • Educating the public about modern day slavery and how they can support the 24 Hour Race Organisation to eradicate the problem.• Leading a team of 5 core team members and 10 University of Leeds societies to arrange an event for up to 1000 University students in North-West England.

I was exposed to practical situations from the very start of my internship at BAC and learned a lot about the financial responsibilities and functions in an organisation.
