Arjun Sree Manoj is a Staff Bio-Medical Engineer at Portal Instruments, a company that develops needle-free injectors for at-home care. He is part of the Pre-Clinical team that conducts injection performance and pharmacokinetic studies, manages CROs, and optimizes the device performance and safety. Arjun holds a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University, where he expanded his knowledge on skin and parenteral drug delivery, and worked with West Pharmaceutical Services to design a device for faster adverse event detection and diagnosis for patients. Arjun's passion for medical devices stems from his interest in robotics, computer science, and the human body. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Engineering with Honors in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science from Tulane University, where he participated in the Grand Challenges Scholar program, Engineers without Borders, and the Novel Tech Challenge Startup Challenge. He gained skills and experience in designing and prototyping small-to-large scale devices, and joined the at-home care technological space early in his career. Arjun's goal is to become an expert in parenteral drug delivery, contribute to the advancement of injection science, and help patients overcome drug delivery challenges.
