Shipment Fusion has two query applications that access its main DB. Fusion Query Service (FQS) is implemented as the original service for access by tracking ID or other well established index to the main shipment table. . The service will be based on the Common Services Framework and memory-based caching will be considered for two entities – the customer / shipment relationships and the shipment data recently accessed through the service. The application also involves a Customer Shipment Update service that updates the active shipments of the users running every hour querying the database at regular intervals.CUSTOMER COUNT It implements a job that runs Every Hour and counts the number of packages for each user and updates appropriate tables and should generate the total number of active shipments for each customer leaving out the expired ones. After getting the Counts for each user, then each user will be updated accordinglyEDIMX-GUI:A User interface to manage the Customers and Destination Codes. The interface had the Following options Add Customer, Add Destination, Search Customer and Search Destination. The main purpose of this GUI was to manage InSight EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) without direct database access. The GUI was developed using ICEFACES and JSF.TRAQS QUERY SERVICE-GUI: A User Interface to allow test queries to be sent to TRAQS(Tracking Query Service) Web Services.
