Current• Conducting ecological baseline surveys across intertidal, subtidal, mangroves, seagrass, coral reefs, and key habitats for marine mammals and sea turtles. • Assisting with terrestrial ecological surveys and deploying advanced oceanographic equipment like ADCP, CTD, water quality sensors, and buoy systems. • Collecting and analyzing benthic specimens, zooplankton, and phytoplankton to assess biomass. • Monitoring and conserving reef ecology, studying population structures and community dynamics of marine organisms. • Implementing marine surveys and monitoring systems for projects across Oman and the Middle East. • Conducting biodiversity assessments based on IUCN and IFC standards to inform marine conservation policies, including aquaculture development. • Setting up and maintaining existing marine equipment for data collection, sampling, and calibration. • Writing scientific reports for baseline surveys, impact assessments, and monitoring programs. • Using numerical and statistical tools to enhance reporting and field experiments. • Planning and organizing daily operations, including hands-on activities like diving and supervising fieldwork.
