I had to take up tasks as follows. • Configuring and deploying tomcat to run java applications on blade,virtual and cloud servers. • Load balancing the applications with HAProxy. • Configuring and administering MySQL databases and replications. • Creating Shell Scripts for backups,monitoring and other tasks • Creating and maintaining SVN repositories. • Providing technical support for linux and windows desktop machines. • Maintaining the network and firewall of the organization.

My responsibilities included are as follows : • Monitoring servers with nagios.• Handling tickets and live chat to resolve issues associated with Cpanel/WHM DNS,Apache and MysQL. • Configuring backup servers (R1soft) and add backup policies for live servers and also make sure the backups are running fine on the same.
